Why Kickstarter?
While Kickstarter isn’t entirely necessary for this expansion, it does offer many benefits.
The most notable is exposure. Because of the great reach of Kickstarter, we can share Kaiju Ketsugo! TCG with people all over the world — some of which have never heard about the Indie TCG that began in Central Illinois. The WoF Kickstarter campaign will ship to the US and Canada, and we’re strongly considering shipping to the UK and to the land down under.
What is Whispers of Failure?
Whispers of Failure will be the first expansion of the Kaiju Ketsugo! TCG’s Power Entry Series. While originally slated to go by a different name, a few comments that marked this journey as a failure in the TCG community, inspired the first expansion’s official title. After all, it is only fitting to name this very first expansion and its successes after those whispering, “failure” to us along the way. Interestingly enough, it aligned perfectly with the story of Kaiju Ketsugo! and the battle to save Anèria!
What Does WoF Have to Offer?
Whispers of Failure will showcase brand new, more monstrous Kaiju, new art, more of the unique abilities you’ve grown to love — and it will serve as a prerequisite through crowdfunding a new Kaiju Ketsugo! comic book series. We can’t say much about this yet, except that we’re excited to present the world of Anèria in full color. You should be able to open the first issue late 2026.
